Hi everyone. I hope you have been well.
This morning my reading brought me to Genesis 48. In this chapter, Jacob blesses his grandsons, Ephraim and Manasseh. Except he blesses them in the order the other should be receiving, because he sees a better future for the younger brother.
The verse that stood out the most to me today was verse 21:
‘ Then Israel said to Joseph, “Behold, I am about to die, but God will be with you, and bring you back to the land of your fathers.‘
It’s comforting to know that we can always rely on the Lord’s presence.
